The Harness Lead is a leash and harness combo that reduces your dog from pulling while on a walk. Uses an upward lift and release. Leash tightens around dog's barrel to encourage and remind your dog to slow down. When your dog relaxes pull, the leash will relax as well.
The Harness Lead is escape proof and can also be used as a slip lead or collar lead. It forms a snug, comfortable fit around your dog's chest. The Lead helps limit pulling and seems to have a calming effect on its wearer. No more choking, gagging and uncomfortable pressure around your dog's trachea. By transferring the pressure to the dog's mid-section it allows for a more enjoyable walk for both you and your dog.
The Harness Lead is available in two sizes. The Harness Lead Short/Small can be used on dogs weighing from 14 lbs to 40 lbs, while the Harness Lead Long/Large is best for dogs weighing over 40 lbs. Either leash can adjust to any size, but length of the leash will vary accordingly.
SMALL/MED: Best for 14 lbs to 40 lbs (can fit smaller than 14lbs; will fit, but looks best on 14 and up)
3/8 inch diameter nylon
LENGTH is approx. 6ft (from back to handle) on a 25/30 lb dog
MED/LARGE: Best for 40 lbs to 200+ lbs (Can go smaller than 40lbs, but will have long leash)
7/16 inch diameter nylon;
LENGTH approx. 6 ft (from back to handle) on 60/70lb dog
(IMPORTANT: TO BE ESCAPE PROOF, USE ONLY AS DIRECTED. WHILE DOG IS WEARNG HARNESS, HOLD LEASH PART ONLY. DO NOT GRAB TOP OF HARNESS OR ANY AREA IN WHICH YOU WILL CREATE SPACE BETWEEN DOG AND HARNESS. CREATING SPACE WILL ALLOW DOG TO WRIGGLE OUT. BE AWARE OF EXCESS SLACK BETWEEN HARNESS AND BODY, ESPECIALLY ON DOG'S WITH SHORT LEGS.)
If you find Harness Lead is falling back towards the stomach as you walk it is because you have the stops positioned a little too far back. Just tighten up the stops slightly and Harness Lead will stay positioned right behind the front legs as you walk.
